For the establishment of this Starport, the Oberlindes Company is asking the Planetary government of Melfred for the establishment of a Taxation Waiver for the period of twenty (20) standard years (SY). Based upon the acceptance of this proposal, Oberlindes will also develop an "up station" Class "A" starport. It is known that the Equus system has three (3) TL11 Starship squadrons. Oberlindes desires to assist in the upgrade of these squadrons to ensure the defensibility of the starport. The upstation will be able to handle ten (10) times the dT capacity for commercial vessels with one bay specifically built for Oberlindes AHL class Cruiser. Currently, the cruiser is not allowed into Imperial Space based upon the agreements that Oberlindes has with the 3I.
